This house of 6 m2 on the ground, with a first floor and an attic, is not only the smallest house in the city but in France too.
The ground floor and the first floor were built at the end of the 18th century, leaning on the ramparts on the south-west side.
At the beginning of the 19th century, a brick attic was added. Bricks being a massive part of the local industry of the time.
Despite its small size, it was inhabited until the middle of the second part of the 20th century.
